Delta Dental has appointed David Crenshaw as Chief Legal and Strategy Officer to develop and execute strategic processes focused on growing, measuring, and articulating Delta Dental of Tennessee’s reach and value proposition with key stakeholders.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 21, 2023) – Delta Dental of Tennessee (Delta Dental) today announced the appointment of David Crenshaw as Chief Legal and Strategy Officer. Crenshaw, a seasoned corporate attorney, brings years of experience in finance, accounting, corporate governance, and compliance to the newly created position.

As Chief Strategy & Legal Officer, Crenshaw will develop and execute strategic processes focused on growing, measuring, and articulating Delta Dental of Tennessee’s reach and value proposition with key stakeholders. Crenshaw will be a member of the senior executive management team.

Before joining Delta Dental, Crenshaw served as Chief Financial Officer and corporate secretary for two private equity-backed companies: Ambition, the leading sales coaching platform, and Confirmation.com, an audit confirmation service provider. Crenshaw started his career at Ernst & Young and previously worked as a corporate attorney at Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison.

A Middle Tennessee native, Crenshaw received his undergraduate and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Tennessee and graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School. He and his wife, Rachel, have three children and live in Nashville.
